We’ve been working with GoDEX for years and love the printer range. We use all GoDEX thermal printers inhouse to the point where every label that leaves us will have a label attached that’s been printed on GoDEX. That’s a lot of labels!
Why do we love GoDEX printers and what separates them from the rest?
This is an easy one. There are many features that ensure GoDEX are leading the way when it comes to thermal labelling solutions but the key ones for us are below.
- Software – Every GoDEX printer from entry level to full industrial comes with software. Not a cut down, single user version of software but a full working suite that is unlicensed and can be used on as many machines as you like. Most manufacturers charge for software and this can be per user, per year and so on. With GoDEX you get GoLabel and now GoLabel II which are free to download and have all the functionality you could need with a thermal printer. Barcoding, serialisation, database integration or just simple label creation. For users there are no ongoing costs, upgrades are free and what you pay upfront for your printer is what you pay. No hidden costs!
- Warranty – Each printer comes as standard with a 3 year warranty and it doesn’t stop there. The industrial printers have up to 5 years warranty because they just go on forever. Once again this is unheard of in the world of thermal printers and GoDEX believe in their products enough to include this as standard.

Before sale and after sales support – Unlike most other thermal printer suppliers we aren’t just a box shifter. You can view and purchase thermal printers from our website but it’s when you need a little more help finding the right printer for you. That’s where we come into our own. You tell us what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll point you in the right direction. We’ll cost the process, prove the concept and can even demo the solution should you wish to see it in action. This can be either physically or via video call.
If you have any questions setting up or a problem when using the machine you can also call our Tech Support team based in-house at HD Labels. We have the printers running here so we can either re-create your issue and help resolve it or guide you through install. Lots of people buying thermal printers are new to printing labels. Perhaps Natasha’s Law has meant they’ve need to take this on so if setting up label printers isn’t your thing you don’t need to panic. We can guide you, remote into your PC or advise you on any setup. Luckily they’re pretty straight forward once you get your head around them.
