On the 19th & 20th of October 2022 we will be exhibiting at the Responsible Packaging Expo at the London Excel.
HD Labels will be showing some of the latest label, box, pouch and film printing solutions available on the market and some that aren’t quite available. Yes we’ll be allowing a “sneak peak” at the all new Afinia X350. We will have the high end OKI Pro 1050 LED label printer as well as the NEW Epson C4000 & Epson C6500. We will also be showing the Afinia CP950.
We will also be showing a range of materials including our “Eco Range” which includes lots of recycled, recyclable and sustainable options to name a few.

Let’s take a closer look at the machines being displayed:
Afinia X350 – Label & Film Printer
The Afinia X350 is high speed Memjet printer that uses bulk inks for low print costs but has a high print quality on material up to 350mm. This can be either label or packaging materials and is ideal for film printing. The film can then be made into pouches, sachets or bags for an endless list of goods.
Ideal for those needing high volumes of full colour print, roll to roll. Excellent for both label and film printing on an industrial scale.
Epson C4000e – Colour Label Printer
The Epson C4000e is a great entry level label printer. It’s ideal for those needing lower volumes for full colour labels. It uses pigment inks so the labels are very durable whilst remaining a vibrant, colourful finish. Epson’s range of printers come with onsite support for a year which can be extended to either 3 or 5 years for full peace of mind.
If you’re looking at lower volume label printers and still need the quality of print and support, then this might be one to consider.
OKI Pro 1050 – Colour Label Printer CMYK+White
The OKI Pro 1050 is a unique printer in that it uses LED toner technology and is able to print 5 colours. It’s one of the only label printers of this size that allows you to print CMYK+White. The advantages of toner based printing is that the durability is great. Not having inks gives a more robust print as well as a wider range of materials you can print on. Print foils, plastics, papers and the list goes on.
Ideal for those needing industrial labels of high quality and durability. Printing white is epic!
Epson C6500Ae – Colour Label Printer
The Epson C6500Ae is a step up from the C4000e. It’s ideal for those medium volumes of full colour labels. It uses pigment inks so the labels are very durable whilst remaining a vibrant, colourful finish. It’s key feature is the width of print. It can print up to 212mm wide so it’s ideal for printing large labels. This model has a powered cutter and can take a large unwinder & rewinder for those using larger label rolls.
Epson’s range of printers come with onsite support for a year which can be extended to either 3 or 5 years for full peace of mind.
If you’re looking at medium volume label printers to print larger / wider labels, then this might be one to consider.
Afinia CP950 – Packaging & Card Printer
The Afinia CP950 has been designed to print directly onto card sheets or flat packaging. With a stackable input the CP950 is able to print full colour directly onto your media at speeds of up to 6 or 12 inches per second. That’s up to 60ft per minute! This is achieved using the Memjet print engine.
Ideal for those needing flat pouches, boxes, card, jiffy or envelope printing. You can print low to medium volumes and bespoke / personalised products if required. It’s simple to use so print “only what you need” and save on holding lots of printed stock.
