Afinia DLF-220s – Dual Plotter Label Finisher

The DLF-220s has always been a great finisher. It’s a 220mm (8.86″) max width desktop label finisher, designed to laminate, cut, slit, strip & roll your pre-printed labels.

The good news now is that for those needing to improve their cutting speed we have a new “DUAL PLOTTER” version of an already amazing machine.

The dual plotter means exactly what it says. The DLF220s is still the same digital label finisher but with a second plotter added purely to increase the cutting speed.

The way it works is that plotter one cuts one half of the labels on a page and plotter two cuts the other half at the same time. This means there is less movement and less labels to cut per plotter and therefore dramatically increases the cutting speed. On some jobs we’ve seen 127% increase in speed.

If you pair this finisher with something like the Afinia L901 or the Afinia L801 you can print your labels onto continuous material. Then take the printed roll and feed it through the DLF-220s Dual Plotter to produce your finished labels.
